I currently work for Dex Media as a Sales Operations Manager within their direct marketing group. The group sells
and manages direct marketing databases and lists as well as providing mail and insert programs.
Prior to this I worked for a company called RELERA, an Internet Data Center company. Relera was trying
to offer both Data Center space and managed data services for companies thinking of consolidating or streamlining their internal
data center needs. I worked in the Sales Operations area supporting a variety of needs from RFP preparation and response to
CRM development, testing and deployment. All in all, I still believe that managed data services are a viable business model
and will ultimately be the standard for those industries where IT is not a core competency.
